Overcoming food addiction

Michelle spoke about the physical and emotional factors that can lead to food addiction.

She shared tips on how women can overcome the physical aspects of food addiction. Some of these tips included-

  • Eating a balanced diet so that cravings are limited
  • Eating every 3-4 hours so that you don’t have the sugar spikes that lead to cravings and emotional eating.
  • Eating less processed food and more nutrient dense food.
  • Being consistent in good daily habits like getting enough sleep, exercising for mental health and taking time to destress (meditation, reading, walking, dancing, socializing)
